May 2013
Eco Rend North East start work on a challenging refurbishment project for Tolent Construction in Team valley. The project involves the application of 1000m2 of Sto render over a cracked existing sand and cement render.
The existing services on the rear of the building are extensive and require a great deal of protection and care whilst working around them. Eco Rend are providing a complete service on this project including MEWP access equipment, protection of the existing services / windows, welfare, barriers and storage.
April 2013
Jimmy Hayes joins Eco Rend as Contracts Supervisor. Jimmy has 36 years plastering and rendering experience and will undertake site supervision and training
duties.
Nicky Burton joins Eco Rend as an external wall insulation and render installer. Nicky joins our directly employed workforce, working under the supervison of Jimmy Hayes.
Eco Rend also welcomes 2 new apprentices to our team. Kieron and Ashley will undertake a 14 month apprenticeship as external wall insulation and render installers, which will result in the award of an NVQ level 2 qualification.
Eco Rend have secured the order for Huddersfield University LLC, a 1500m2 Sto insulation and render project starting in May 2013 for GB Building Solutions. This is a flagship project for the University and GB Building Solutions and we look forward to delivering the render package to the highest possible standard.

December 2012
Eco Rend North East secure Cockerton Regeneration project for Darlington Borough Council. The project involves the installation of a Structherm insulated render system to 29 individual dwellings as part of the regeneration of the entire area.
The properties are having a 1.5mm textured render finish to the 1st floors, whilst the ground floors will have a brick effect render finish.
Work is well underway and the works are due for completion by the end of March 2013.

November 2012
Eco Rend North East secure contract for Keepmoat Homes in Doncaster. The project involves the installation of Wetherby insulated render and render only systems to new build properties.
This new housing development consists of over 200 houses split into 2 construction phases. There are a mix of fully rendered and partly rendered house types, with some insulated projecting bay windows and flat panels of blockwork walls to be rendered.
Work on site is ongoing and will run into the middle of 2013.

September 2012
Render works have been completed at the Darlington Travelodge and Toby Carvery development on Yarm Road in Darlington.
Approximately 2000m2 of Wetherby Building Systems render was applied in a mix of grey and white colours to the main walls of both buildings.
Whilst the majority of the walls were blockwork, several sections were constructed in timber and clad with a render carrier board suitable to carry the Wetherby render.
The project was completed within a tight programme due to the main contractor being let down by the original render installer just weeks before the planned start on site.
August 2012
Eco Rend secure Weber render package at wind farm project in Alnwick. Work is due to start imminently as the client had been let down by another installer.
July 2012
Eco Rend secure a 2000m2 render contract on the new Travelodge development on Yarm Road in Darlington. The main contractor is Marshall Building Contractors and Eco Rend will be starting on site mid July. The render system specified is supplied by Wetherby building systems http://www.wbs-ltd.co.uk/ and will be applied to a mixture of blockwork and render carrier board.
